The recess is really the focal point of the design, and if you’re feeling green, you can easily fit a small plant in it—fig tree, lemon tree, olive tree, etc. However, the official photos also market it as a makeshift wine cooler. Pack it to the brim with ice and chill your bottles during a party. Whatever use you have for it is up to you. (We say use if for the wine.)
